I agree that that's exactly the point, although we seem to have different ideas about what that exact point is. For virtually all of Judeo-Christian history we were not allowed to challenge, criticise, and ridicule verses in religious scriptures. For virtually all of Judeo-Christian history it was the death-sentence for homosexuals, the death-sentence for pagans, the death-sentence for scientists who contradicted religious scriptures, the death-sentence for those of us with a "blasphemous" sense of humour, the death-sentence for atheists and the wrong sort of Christians, etc etc etc. When apologists for Islam compare it to the other Abrahamic cults, that's a threat not a reassurance.
Islam is one more client group. I doubt very much that KS gives a hoot for Islam but like all other client groups it is the perfect excuse for enlarging the power of the state. Like working class men and like women, and very likely like homosexuals (at some point KS will have to choose between them and Islam and Islam is the stronger) Islam will be abandoned when a new client group emerges-unless Islam itself becomes the state. Quite possible in my opinion.
Excellent article, thank you. While I hate the Government, Starmer for all his faults, isn’t thick, that puts him in a minority among the Cabinet, but still. Assuming that’s correct that means he knows what he’s doing. He also knows that on the current trajectory the UK will have a Moslem majority by the early 2060s and thus Sharia law won’t be far behind. That means that whatever supranational, globalist WEF inspired government that gets created by him and his ilk they’ll have no ability to control the UK in any way. He’s ending ‘the Blair project’ and the country but why? Usually money and/or power as we all know, but in this instance I can’t see how that works? Maybe I’m being as thick as Lammy and the rest of them by being unable to see it, but…
