Terrific article. However, the assumption that the example of "celebrating the death of a child" will trigger an automatic horror reaction is wrong. Western cultures have thrived on child labour, the almost routine loss of 1/4 or 1/5 children in childbirth. We are today no better for raising spoiled children who grow up to be drug addicts or entitled narcissists. Every family I know has one or the other. Personally, I admire you taking on the epic struggle. I would like to see you dig deeper. It is not just totalizing ideology vs. "liberty." Liberty is fraught too. What is it that makes us long for loyalty, allegiance, principle, faith? I would suggest it's virtue. The West operates as if virtue is not needed, or malleable. It is not, and the idea of truth on a spectrum, or, whatever one feels to be true is true, cannot hold.

It's hard to grapple with the profound ignorance of the liberal mind, one which is so naive that they not only imagine everyone else shares their values and goals, but that the people they despise (their own fellow citizens who vote differently) will continue forever to rescue them from the inevitable consequences of their hubristic ignorance.

Bugger the LGBTQIA alphabet soup... bugger the jihadists. Put them together away from the rest of us.

Great piece! I heard about that Finnish fruitcake years ago in a Sam Harris podcast too and he was likewise astonished. How can any mother celebrate the loss of her child? If she is still alive, I sincerely hope her other two are nowhere near her and flourishing. There’s also the downright audacity and entitlement of her shock that her husband was arrested - in the street! - for terrorism. How very dare they!

It's like in Zombie's apocalypse, a virus transforms people into monsters. This virus is called islam.

Amir, another excellent article from you. I fear though that your warnings will go unheeded.

The long note by a converted Finnish woman goes to show you how methodically and purposely elements are at work inside our Western nations to spread the rot. She is so absolutely brainwashed that she flips the good and bad, right and wrong completely on its head. She reminds me of the brainwashed girls in the Sweden in the TV series, the Caliphate.

Your story about Iran using children as mine sweepers during the prolonged Iran-Iraq war reminded me of a story that a former Iranian colleague told me. He said that the Imams will send these children with a key to the paradise (jannant), an actual physical key. They would tell the children that it was the key for them to open and enter the paradise, and live happily forever. Often when bodies, or limbs, were found of such kids, they would be found clutching these keys so hard that their little fists couldn't be opened easily. My colleague then told me something that has stayed with me for last three decades! He said that "if Muslims can do this to their own children, what do you think they will do to your children." Give that a thought, and you know where we are heading to.

Thank you, so kind of you to say. Yes, the key claim is absolutely true and I had it included in my earlier drafts of this article. It’s yet another example of the moral perversion of Shiite Islam.
